June 5, 2024 Sunset Unveils Single And Double Rainbow!

By Rochester Sun Times News Staff

Rochester, Minnesota (Rochester Sun Times News) - At 20:00 (8:00 P.M.) CDT, light rain began in northwest Rochester with the sun breaking through the clouds. Within minutes, a double rainbow appeared, faded, and transformed into a single rainbow. The rainbows didn’t last long because of intermittent rain, but they reappeared and fascinated spectators for around fifteen minutes, as stated in the Rochester Sun Times News report.

The rainbows, displaying both single and double forms, made their appearance as the light rains fell, growing brighter and more vivid as they were beautifully illuminated by the setting sun.

We are grateful for the chance to have shown you the first spring rainbows this evening. We are grateful for the chance to have shown you the first spring rainbows this evening, and we maintain the conviction in our newsroom that if God reveals more of His “promises” in the future, we will try to document them with a camera.

Following the disappearance of the final rainbow of the evening, a hummingbird materialized before Lisa Loucks-Christenson, briefly hovered, and then vanished into the enchanting hues of the fading double rainbow.
