Lisa Loucks-Christenson Publishing, LLC Announces Edna Miller Anthology and Select Remastered Reissues Under Beloved Wildlife Illustrated Classics(TM)
Rochester, Minnesota — Lisa Loucks-Christenson Publishing, LLC, founded and led by Lisa Loucks-Christenson, is developing a new children’s picture book line under its imprint Beloved Wildlife Illustrated Classics(TM). The project will feature select remastered editions of works by beloved children’s author and illustrator Edna Miller, best known for the Mousekin series.
The initiative has been in development for several years and is being advanced through a contract drawn up between Edna Miller’s son and Lisa Loucks-Christenson to perfect upcoming newly remastered editions of select works by his mother. At this time, the full release of Gulliver has not been finalized, and only a preview or glimpse of the material is planned for the upcoming anthology.
The forthcoming anthology, Edna Miller: Life, Work, and Legacy, will present a curated look at Miller’s life, work, photographs, notes, book covers, and other archival materials gathered to preserve her story. The project is intended as a concise but meaningful volume, with more details to be announced as development continues.
Lisa Loucks-Christenson said the project began with a personal search for the connection behind a rare unpublished manuscript believed to be Miller’s work. “Sometimes books get a second life because someone didn’t give up calling and searching for the one man who could say yes,” she said. “That effort has grown into a project meant to honor Edna Miller’s legacy and share her work with future generations.”
The new line will join other books in the company’s wildlife collection and will be sold through Loucks Studios, Inc. retail stores. Additional details about publication dates, ebook editions, and other formats are not being announced at this time.
