Rochester Author Launches The Allie Institute™ — Global Spiritual Science & Conservation Center Based in Minnesota

Rochester, Minnesota — Rochester-based author, wildlife documentarian, and publisher Lisa Loucks-Christenson has announced the launch of The Allie Institute™ — Global InterSpecies Spiritual Science & Conservation, a new research and documentary center headquartered in Rochester. The institute is a division of Lisa Loucks-Christenson Media Syndicate and is funded entirely through the sales of Loucks-Christenson’s books, art, speaking engagements, and exhibits.

After 59 years creating art and 54 years photographing wildlife, Loucks-Christenson is formalizing what has been a lifetime of work at the intersection of wildlife behavior, faith, and human–animal connection. The Allie Institute™ focuses on what she calls “interspecies knowingness”—the communication and spiritual awareness shared between animals and animals, animals and people, and even people who do not share the same spoken language but can still deeply understand one another.

“I’ve documented conversations going back to age three—from family, doctors, and nurses to later experiences with near-death events, angels, Jesus stepping in, and animal messengers,” Loucks-Christenson said. “Allie, a starling who speaks in long phrases better than my African Grey, became living proof of what I’d been documenting for decades. It felt clear that Rochester was meant to become a ground zero for global discovery in this work.”

Drawing on years of field research in her local oak savanna wildlife sanctuary, as well as studies of bald eagles and other species, Loucks-Christenson sees The Allie Institute™ as both a scientific and spiritual endeavor. The mission is to advance spiritual science and wildlife conservation while documenting evidence of interspecies communication, divine intervention, and the mysterious ways animals and people connect.

The new institute will be supported exclusively by the creator’s work—there is no donation program at this time. “If you’d like to support my work, please consider purchasing my books, art, or attending my exhibits and talks,” Loucks-Christenson said.

A key early title helping to fund the institute is her upcoming book, Oak Savanna Winds: Blue Lupine, releasing March 31, 2026 on Amazon. The book documents 15+ years of fieldwork in her Rochester-area oak savanna, capturing wildlife stories, snowfield evidence, and spiritual reflections drawn from the land.
