Rochester Sun Times News & Publishing Expands Original Fiction

Following the successful serialized-fiction run of Lisa Loucks-Christenson’s The Unfortunate Princess, Rochester Sun Times News & Publishing has expanded its original-fiction publishing program.
The editorial team has made the decision to continue publishing original, first-rights serialized works—stories created for their initial publication through Rochester Sun Times News & Publishing.
The expansion builds on the publication’s commitment to stories that bring readers into worlds shaped by mystery, documentary truth, history, survival, and realities that are sometimes too unbelievable to be told any other way.
The next original serial is Wakefield, an illustrated series set in the river town and tourist destination known as Wakefield Landing, Minnesota.
Season One, Episode Two, “Calendar Witness,” introduces Lara Smyth—Sheila Wakefield’s first cousin, closest ally, and an emergency-call professional who understands exactly how much can be lost when a frightened caller is not heard.

Lisa Loucks-Christenson is a 42-year publishing entrepreneur, author, illustrator, photographer, investigative storyteller, and media creator.
