President Biden to sign executive order at 2:00 P.M. EDT to halt border crossing. He openly admitted to wanting power.

I am not alone in my life and small business. Most small business owners I know barely survived Covid-19, which permanently changed the way everyone worked.

Trembling with uncertainty, I clutched my husband’s hand tightly as we fought against the relentless grip of his cancer, our prayers filled with desperation.

Believe me, as a woman, I face each day understanding that nothing comes easy, and I rely heavily on prayer to guide me through. Many of those prayers go to my customers, who are struggling, on the brink of death, or desperately seeking answers.

In the past, my guest book was a blank canvas for recording names, hometowns, and heartfelt messages. Little did anyone know it would eventually transform into a sacred prayer book. The book reached maximum capacity when we moved to our newest location. A woman arrived to sign a prayer but found no pages available. She said, “I don’t care, I’ll find somewhere to write." She did too, on the inside back cover.

Personally, I have witnessed incredible their miracles, observed their remarkable transformations, and been moved by the uplifting news that triumphed over what seemed like a hopeless death sentence. In every single instance, the reason behind their perseverance was that they never lost sight of the power of “hope.”

During the transaction of purchasing Badger Books in Wisconsin, Bill, the prior owner, left me with a lasting impression through his words, expressing that “Hope is the last thing to go.”

In my opinion, as the creator of this comic, my intention was to convey the idea that the concept of “Power” can indeed be acquired through various means such as purchasing, selling, trading, smuggling, or even illegally crossing into our country. However, it is crucial to emphasize that true and genuine power can never be earned through such methods.

It is possible that in the future, the individual who holds the position of our president will raise their voice towards the sky, passionately exclaiming, “Grant us hope!”

Hope is a powerful force that can be freely shared, given, and cherished, without any legal restrictions, regardless of borders or directions.
